How do I get to Scantibodies Facilities?
You should take CA-94 E, Follow CA-94 E/Campo Rd. Take a right on Hwy 188; this should take you to the Tecate border. A couple of blocks from the US/Mexico border, you will find a parking lot where you could leave your vehicle if you should decide too, just across from the parking lot is a bank named Rabo Bank. Once you leave your car at the parking lot, make your way to the border (two blocks) you will see a sign that reads TC Worthy. This is a small shopping center, once you pass it you will walk to through the turnstiles that will take you to Mexico.
Once you cross to Mexico you will see the immigration offices on your right there you will go in and get a tourist permit (you must inform the custom agent how many days you will be in Mexico), then you will see a check point with a traffic light, you will push the button and if you get a green light you will then continue to the patient pick up point, if you get a red light, the immigration officers will ask if you have anything to declare (please remember that all type of hand guns are illegal in Mexico), once they clear you continue to the patient pick up point.
Once you arrive at the patient pick up point you should see a Blue Honda Odyssey van, in case you don’t see our shuttle please contact us at 619-324-7750. We will then contact the driver to check his current location, sometimes they need to move as it is a Federal Government Zone.
The drive from the border to Scantibodies Imaging & Therapy should take approximately 15min; our drivers usually take the Tecate/Tijuana Hwy to avoid traffic.
Once your visit has finished our driver will take you to the patient drop off point, there you will cross the street and follow the signage to the US Border.
